Most of them give at least $100 to $150. There is a difference between a scrap yard and junk yard. Junk yards deal with cars and sell parts and scrap yards deal in scrap metal and sell it tp foundries. Unlike the 3rd answer around here junk yards advertise that they will pay at least $100 on up for any complete car.

junkyard will give a min of 50$ for a car, depending on the condition, what motor,body style,year,aftermarket. most you can get is 300.

Two answers, both wrong. The minimum you will get is $0. Many scrap yards are not even interested in them unless you want to give them away. If the vehicle is worth fixing, you should consider donating it to a charity for a tax write-off.

But most are worth $50-200.
