1995 Grand Prix Boken Head Gasket, can I get it at a junk yard?
Kil3 asked:
Im trying to find a good cheap head gasket without paying over a 1000 dollars for a grand prix.

Would it be possible to get one from a salvage/junk yard out of a different one?
Any suggestions on fixing it?
How much will it cost at a shop? Can I do it myself?

A gasket is cheaply made. It cannot be remaoved from a motor and used on another. It will be destroyed in the removal.
A gasket usually costs about $20.00.
If the problem is the head itself, you are looking at a higher repair price.

Shops usually charge like $500-$800 for the work, yea you can do it yourself, but is a hassle cause its front wheel drive which makes the rear bank head hard to work on.
